This collection of selected contemporary artists offers a solid overview of the landscape as seen through the eyes of U.S. artists in our times. The regional divisions give a nod to shared themes, even though the styles of each artist are quite distinctive. The text provides insight into each region and each artist, making it more than a coffee table book.
