There are two reasons I rate this book three stars: one is that St. John Hunt is not a very good writer; the narrative is unfocused, and cliche ridden. The second reason is that while he tries to make his father into a sympathetic figure caught up in his times, I actually found myself hating E. Howard Hunt more, and really disliking St. John Hunt too for that matter.
