Recommends it for: Fans of good romantic suspense
I enjoyed The Truth About Comfort Cove immensely. It is a well-crafted story about two detectives; Lucy Hayes in Indiana and Ramsey Miller in Comfort Cove, Massachusetts, working two cold cases that are related. It didn’t take me long to become engrossed in these cases, paying close attention to the characters and trying to solve the case right along with the detectives (I don’t have a very high solve rate!). I think the progression of the romance between Lucy and Ramsey was just right, especial ...more

The Truth About Comfort Cove is book three in It Happened in Comfort Cove series.
This is the only one I have read but boy was my emotions involved in it. I would hate to see how much I would cry if I knew all the characters that much better. I cried sad tears, happy tears. I smiled too.

I am not sure what brought on both of the dectives Lucy and Ramsey to meet when they both live in different states but work cold cases dealing with missing kids. Lucy works on missing kids because her mother
Good book and conclusion to the series. Lucy and Ramsey have been working together for several months to solve some cold case missing children cases. It is obvious that they are getting closer on a personal level but both avoid emotional ties. Lucy is tied to her mother who has a serious drinking problem and emotional scars from a traumatic event twenty five years earlier. She looks forward to her conversations with Ramsey and finds that she is also becoming attracted to him. She doesn't want to ...more

This book is the third installation of It Happened in Comfort Cove series and tells the story of how Lucy and Ramsay continued with their investigation of the abducted child who went missing 25 years ago. Though they are investigating a two different missing child, they seem to consult each other and are trying hard to find some similarities of the two cases if any. Things changed when they started to fantasized about each other and they finally acknowledged their feeling for each other. But eac ...more
The Truth about Comfort Cove is a compelling romantic suspense tale with a resolution that few readers will suspect. Although this is the culmination of a mystery that runs through three books, sufficient background is provided so that this final book can be read as a standalone. The romance and the suspense elements are skillfully woven together. Even the shattering solution plays an essential role in the relationship between Lucy and Ramsey. Seeing these two wounded hearts find their HEA is im ...more
Just read this book this afternoon. I really enjoyed it. Will probably go back and re read it. It was very well done and a touching story. It is third in a trilogy and sadly I wasn't able to read the first 2, but will probably go back and read them even though I know the ending.
