Not only does the word luscious appear in this title but it describes the recipes within and the book itself – beautiful, beautiful book on a subject of which I am fond. I love lemons and recipes using the lovely flavor of lemons so this book was a no-brainer to be a big hit with me. the tart on the front cover is the best I've ever tasted -- and I had no trouble with it either which makes it even better! And there is a lemon cake with lemon glaze that beats most lemon desserts hands down.

Great recipes and easy to follow instructions for the home baker or pastry professional. I like that many of Lori's books and recipes require easy to find ingredients. She also has photos of each item so you know what the end product to look like.

Lovely, mouth watering lemon desserts. I have made the lemon curd and it is delicious, needs a bit less sugar than the recipe calls for. I love lemon. The pictures make you want to eat everything. I would consider buying this book.

A must-have for lovers of springtime desserts! Though the instructions sometimes seem a tad out of order, or overly complicated (why would you add liquid extracts to cake batter *after* adding the dry ingredients? and is double-sifting really necessary?), the results were wonderful! I can't recommend the Ultimate Lemon Pound Cake enough. I enjoyed making it, I enjoyed glazing it, and - most importantly - I enjoyed eating it. :) I'm usually a little suspicious of cookbooks that feature big glossy ...more

Lemons - delicous. I haven't tried many of the recipes yet, but it is a cookbook filled with photos, which I always love, and the recipes I have tried have turned out as I expected them to. The sorbet is delicious.
