I really liked this book, but not as good as With Love From Spain, Melanie Martin. But this one is very funny too.

Met the author when I was working at her Yale 30th reunion. Picked up one of the other books in her series (the Spain one, of course), and was surprisingly engrossed in this children's novel. Fun stuff, and lots of good drawings and fun text, diary style. For children though!
