Hawk and the Cougar is an erotic romantic suspense novella by new-to-me author, Tarah Scott.

Liz Williams was shocked when she overheard her daughter talking about her archeology professor in sexual terms. Why was her brilliant 17 year old daughter talking like that? Were they having an affair? She needed to put an end to that pronto!

Professor Anthony Hawkins was insanely attracted to the irate woman who instantly started to berate him upon coming face to face with her

Suspenseful & Sexually Thrilling!

Nothing like a good old fashioned chase from the bad guys to get your heart a racing with the thrill and excitement of not getting killed, but add some hot fast driving sex to the equation and not only will your heart be beating rapidly, your body will be going into sensory overload to climax heaven.

The novella is fast paced and by the end you will be wishing it lasted longer and wanting to know more about the characters and their continuing circumstances. Th

44 year old Liz Williams overhears her daughter on the phone and assumes she's is having an affair with her professor. Professor Anthony Hawkins spies a woman in his class and assumes she's another "High-priced call girl" sent to sweeten the pot. Boy are the both wrong!

Right from the get go this book takes off. They squabble, clear up their misunderstanding and then are attacked. They are instantly attracted to each other. She's hot for teacher but hung up on the age difference. He could care l

The title of this one was apt. I did like how Liz took her daughter’s comments out of comment, fitting as she was sort of spying on her daughter when she heard them. The chemistry between Hawk and Liz was instant, I found myself rooting for them, hoped that Liz would get over her issues. I thought the bad guys chasing them was a little contrived, but it did force them together.

My Rating System:
* couldn't finish, ** wouldn't recommend, *** would recommend, **** would read again, ***** have read again.

While this book did have a few redeeming qualities, due to a lack of editorial contribution I would not recommend.
