Boss whisperer Brooke Nichols has never seen RJ Kincaid act like this. True, his mother is in jail for murdering his father, and an illegitimate brother has all but stolen the shipping dynasty RJ's worked so hard to safeguard. But that's no excuse for bad behavior. So, as a good assistant should, Brooke pulls him aside and pours him a drink. Resulting in a kiss...or two. I

I didn't enjoy this book at all mainly because I didn't feel the romance was a romance & I didn't like the heroine much, I felt the only reason she was with the hero was because she wanted to climb the corporate ladder, liked his lifestyle and the weird part was within a week of dating him she's thinking of wedding bells.

I kind of found her foolish, she gets jealous when she sees him working business contacts, I found her too weird. The hero too is dealing with the fact that he is not the el
I can't say I really liked this all that much...

Brooke works as RJ's PA and one day when he is deal with a lot of stress and yelling at his employees Brooke drags him out of the room to his office. There Brooke plies him with some whisky/scotch and he kisses her. Feelings develop and soon Brooke realizes that she let RJs Dads killer into the building where they work. On top of it all during one of his making love sessions with Brooke, he forgot to use a condom, now she could be pregnant with his
While this one was pretty good, I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two books in the series. I had a hard time warming up to RJ. I know his life sucks right now, but the constant anger was very draining to read. I also thought he was pretty tacky in his pursuit of Brooke. He didn't seem to care at all about her reputation if someone had seen them. Brooke was ok, except for keeping her secret when she should have told it right away. In the beginning of this book I was somewhat lost. It didn't have the greatest flow from the last book in the Kincaid series. But once I got over that I enjoyed it, because I enjoy this family. Behind the Boardroom Doors did its job in making you want to read the next book in the series.

I’ve been making up stories since the day I was born. I always loved to draw as well as write and as a child I drew graphic novellas featuring penniless but plucky Cinderella heroines. My love of daydreaming earned me the nickname “Dozy Duck” in Kindergarten, and I still consider staring into space to be a constructive activity.

I was born in Manhattan but my family moved to London when I was six m
