A fascinating insightful study of the mysterious and controversial life of Charles Hatfield - The Rainmaker - and his accredited/discredited association with the devastating San Diego flood of 1916. Written with a balanced pen of intelligence and entertainment qualities. Most certainly a recommended good read that begs pondering long after the final page.
