Third book in a week I've picked up with adversarial protagonists. The strained dialogue did this book in, which is a shame because I usually enjoy Kristin Hardy's books.
Main issues: heroine assumes she knows everything about the hero because he has a rep, and even as she gets to know him, continues to assume the worst. I've been book crazy my entire life. When my mom would tell me to go to bed, I'd hide in the bathroom just so I could read a few more pages.
