Mia and Michael are finally an item, but Grandmere seems to have other plans. Just before the happy couple's first hot date, an unmissable royal engagement turns up. Could it be that Michael doesn't measure up and that (please not!) Grandmere's got someone else in mind for Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo?

This book is probably the worst princess diaries book I've ever read. It is okay but the entire story is about Mia in Genovia (the small European country she will one day rule) and she is missing Micheal her boy friend. It is very annoying to here her constantly talk about Micheal and if he is going to break up with her or not. After I read this book I decided to take a break from the Princess Diaries books because I just couldn't take it! Mia was becoming too Micheal-obsessed and the books were...more

The series princess diaries is much more dramatic than the disney movie of it lead it off to be. It deals with more teenager issues and talks a lot about school. I like the style its written in because it doesn't just have the main character narrate the story for you, she sometimes put lists or her schedule. But i find the main character to be annoying and very shallow.

I tried this one on audiobook, but Anne Hathaway spoiled me! It's not that the new girl isn't nice, but in my head, she's just not Mia. Instead, I have gotten the further adventures of the princess out of the library...
I actually DID wind up on the audiobook for this one. And the book didn't let down or disappoint.

This is a sequence to the princess diary. Mia is a princess and she is going with Micheal but she is in the place her grandma is and her boyfriend is somewhere els. They barely get to talk to each other. THats the sad part. she can't wait to go back and see him.

This book was full of teen angst and a whole lot of unnecessary drama. But, as I recall, that is what life was like when I was 14 going on 15 as well. This one was not as superbly funny as the last 3, but it did have quite a few zingers that kept me giggling.

I've been listening to this series on CD. This morning, Tyson walked chuckled and said "I'm not suprised that you like these books." Whatever that means! The first three were better on CD, though, as they were read by Anne Hathaway.

In this book she is in Genovia WAY too long and its awful because right after her and Michael FINALLY get together. But when they get together it is so cute because you realize how much michael truly loves her for who she is.

This is a fun book--really different to see things from the 14-year-old perspective again! I really enjoyed this book-- once I could forget about the way these characters were portrayed in the movie.

I am currently reading this book. I think it is just OK. The book is not that thrilling. I can't really read it for more than a half hour without it putting me to sleep.

This book was okay if I remember correctly. Definitely not has good as the first three, but not bad either. Kinda a boring plot line though.

I love how funny she is. It is like reading your own diary....besides the whole princess thing.

Romance. Insecurity, (insecure) mostly on Mia's and Michael's relationship.

Quite repetitive; mirrors itself and the other books in the series quite a lot
