Upton Sinclair does tend to provide the same message within most of his novels and describe the cruelty and injustice pouring out of the richer societies. However, The Metropolis purely focuses on all of its characters and the struggle that Guy has facing the harsh realities of the people that swarm him. This socialistic writer hits another nerve and spreads more information about this land.
