The fact that this book starts off with a reassuring "oh there's nothing bad or scary about having a baby over 35! Everything you've heard is exaggerated..." then goes on to scare the shit out of you- should tell you a lot about the book. There were sections I couldn't even read, just skimmed out of shock and fear of what they said! I think perhaps reading too much on the topic of all the things "that could go wrong" could be a bad idea, so I'm skimming those. Like I need any more anxiety on the ...more
