When someone screams Tripp Shaughnessey's name, it's usually a woman in the throes of passion or one who's just caught him with his hand in the proverbial cookie jar. Sometimes it's both. Tripp is sarcastic, fun-loving, and funny, with a habit of seducing every woman he says hello to. But the one who really gets him hot and bothered is Glory Brighton, the curvacious owner ...more

This is the second episode in Alison Kent's tantalizing 5 part series. In THE SHAUGHNESSEY ACCORD, we meet Tripp Shaughnessey, the quirky jokester of SG-5.

Tripp is positioned in Manhattan, on a 24 hour watch of the supposed efforts of a diamond merchant's unlawful commerce with none other than the enemy Spectra IT. His stakeout spot -- the corner sandwich shop that the SG-5 men frequent for lunch. The owner of the shop, Glory Brighton, has had Tripp's attention for awhile, and he doesn't underst

I was surprised by how short this book was.. I thought it was going to be a long novel similar to the first book. But it was a quarter of that.

The story was sort of interesting if not a little confusing. I wasn't that interested in the characters and I didn't find that much depth to them. I guess it could be because of the fact that the story was short there wasn't much time to develop them. In addition, I thought it was weird how the characters were suddenly in love with each other after a chap

This is very short. It took 2 hours to read in its entirety. Really it is a part of a book, but this part is so good. There is meat here for a proper book, and I am not sure why the author started or left off where she did. I am just looking at it as a short story that I enjoyed. Great characters, super steamy love scenes, etc. That said, if the whole story were here it would have been a lot better.

i thought this was a good story but the characters were way underdeveloped. also, at the end it just.......ended. maybe this author isn't good at doing endings? i'll try another one to see if i'm interested in this author or not.

I often read of or hear about authors who knew they were meant to tell stories from the time they left the crib. Me? I didn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up until I was thirty years old - and then sold my first book at thirty-four. Still, it was obvious that I always knew I was going places.

Like so many other authors, I was a voracious reader from day one, devouring everything from Nanc
