This is a difficult book to read. At least it was for me, but then I am not all that conversant with international relations literature. This book deserves a more thoughtful response than I can muster this early in the morning. I will say that the author has mastered a wide range of literature, which makes this very worth-while as an introduction to the literature on the subject.
