I don't read a ton of short story collections, usually I have trouble keeping my interest / attention in them. This one though, I really liked. Berkman's stories really helped me to imagine what Shakespeare might have been like as just a regular guy -- sure he's still "the Bard" here, but these stories also show him as a man who is always away from his family, who feels a longing for his wife, Anne, who he only sees once a year, he feels guilty for also having feelings for other women (and for a ...more
