Catatan harian Mohtar Loebis ketika ia dirumahkan di era Orde Lama. Di dalam 'pingitan" itu lahgir juga novel "Maut dan Cinta". Sayang ingatan saya lebih ke novel itu daripada ke jurnal harian ini. Entah diskusi yang selalu marak ketika murid-murid SMA Muthohari memasuki jam istirahat yang membuatnya lenyap tak berbekas. Yang jelas ini salah satu buku koleksi dari perpustakaan Kang Jalal di daerah Kiaracondong Bandung.

prison notes that reflect much of the turmoil of Indonesia in the 60s, quite a crazy time that is - combined with his thoughts and ideas for the young country - everyone should look for the grocery shopping list budget - it's a classic.

Read in January, 1990
Story about Mochtar Lubis strugle under Sukarno and Suharto regime... This guy seems to be an everybody's enemy :)
