DI Michael Angel has a strange murder case to solve where both thee murderer and the victim weren’t wearing shoes. Then there’s a four million pound bank robbery which involved a woman pretending to be pregnant, a fake ambulance and some fake plumbers. But it’s the lack of shoes which really puzzles him – not to speak of the missing jade head of a long dead emperor which seems likely to cause a diplomatic incident if it is not located.

This is an interesting murder mystery with many ramifications...more
