A New Language for Life is built on the concept that the reason people are unhappy is because they have forgotten how to be true to themselves and how to trust themselves. The fact that people don't trust themselves has a lot to do with language and how they experience themselves through the language that shapes their lives. "A New Language for Life" is a radically new app ...more

In a world of rapid change (not all of it uplifting), is it possible to find true happiness and fulfillment? It is, says Dr. Louis Koster, and he provides a pathway that can enable any individual to look within and find what is needed to bring about that happiness.

It might seem ironic that such a message comes from someone who spent years in war-ravaged countries working for Doctors without Borders. Yet Koster is hopeful that this shift in awareness and personal responsibility for one’s own hap

Imagine for a moment if you were less affected, less stressed out, by the inner and external voices describing some past or present failure on the part of anyone or even you! It might be an external failure and it might be an inner weakness. Louis Koster has written a book in which he states it’s a choice to confirm these lies in speech and thought, thereby cementing their disastrous outcomes and perpetuating a similar run into the future. Or what about if you could come to a point where you tru ...more
Medical doctor Louis Koster does a wonderful job in his book, "A New Language For Life, Happy No Matter What!" of helping the reader gain new insight into how they can turn a mundane life situation into one that brings joy and happiness. This book provides the reader with "The Choice" which the author describes as making "...a firm commitment to be happy, fulfilled and satisfied with your current situation." So many allow the circumstances of life to dictate how they respond emotionally and Kost ...more
`I am the source of all that manifests in my life.'

Louis Koster has written a book that is difficult to categorize. One possible label might be `self-help' book but there are so many of those on the shelves and in the ether of eBooks that, while well devised and meaningful to many, simply rehash the material of `focus your goals. Walk through life like you mean it, etc' - all of which is healthy for start over philosophy, but seem to fall short in actually finding the path to changing our world.

Book Review of A New Language for Life: Happy No Matter What!

There is a light-hearted song that young children sing:

If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands (clap, clap) If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands (clap, clap) If you’re happy and you know it then your face (pointer fingers on either side of mouth, lifting lips into a smile) will surely show it, If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands (clap, clap)

“If you are to become what you can be, you must stop being what you are.”

Koster opens his book with his struggles of becoming a medical professional.Being rejected by the Pediatrics Department due to his stammering leaves him stunned. But he doesn’t give up on his dream of becoming a doctor. That leads him to a search for himself, the path to controlling one’s own destiny, rather than doing what others want you to do. His final goal is to show how one can be happy no matter what.

“Our birth language…does not give us a way of expressing ourselves that is true to ourselves, and that is in alignment with our true nature. Our birth language is no longer sufficient to meet the demands of the new emerging era.” Author Louis Koster MD is an internationally acclaimed physician who has developed a new self-help mechanism for people who are like he used to be – indecisive, insecure, and unguided.
Koster, from the Netherlands, grew up with advantages aplenty. From earliest childhood

A fresh look at finding your authentic self, "A New Language for Life: Happy No Matter What!," is predicated on the belief that “each of us has the ability to raise the level of our consciousness, and that the cumulative effect of that effort will benefit humanity.”

How we choose to live affects our happiness in life, and radically changes the way we view ourselves will determine what we achieve. Our birth language places limits on us with expectations and beliefs that drive us away from awarenes

If you love language, this is the book to be chewing on as we cross the threshold of the Mayan Solstice in 2012. Language shifts at this calendar precipice to the words that come out of our heart instead of those coming out of our head. We are invited to jettison our birth language and embrace a new language that conveys "being, allowing and oneness" over "struggle and duality".

The specific words and phrases offered in this book, along with Dr. Koster's personal travel stories, is what makes th
