Kidnapped is a really good book if you want a book that has great adventures and has realistic themes and plots. The book is about a boy named David who travels to see his uncle Ebenezer,lives with him for a few days, but then gets kidnapped by a ship that has a crew and from that point of time he faces the rest of his adventure going through fights, escapes, sword battles, meets friends and much more. Rob Lloyd Jones was born in San Francisco but grew up in London. He studied Egyptology at University where he learnt hieroglyphics, and often goes on digs with the Egypt Exploration Society.
