This book was amazing from the beginning to the end. It left me searching at the end of the book for details on a sequel. When I first purchased the book, I was trying to figure out how two authors would write a book such as this one. I still dont know which author had what voice but its an amazing book either way. My favorite part was when Ashlee tried to make it seem like darius raped her. I would reccomend it to all of my friends. Throught the story, Ashlee was obsessed with Jay. When he met...more

This was a wonderful book. Ashlee is one crazy bitch, and I don't use that word that often! I didn't see the end comming at all and was very shocked. I cant wait until they make the second part. At least that's what I think they hiunted at in the end when Jay said "He Aint the One" I hope Ashlee gets everything that comming to her. I will say I was very disappointed that Tracy didn't have more faith in Jay than she did. This book teaches a good lesson that sometimes you should look and not touch...more

This book had me hooked from the beginning. It took me one day to finish. The ending was a little upsetting for me because I wanted more! I wanted to see Ashlee get her's. I'm not going to spoil the ending for those who have not read the book. Jay was the sexy male lead. Divorcee, father, good friend. Not a bad guy. A player as he would say. But looking for the one. Ashlee was CRAZY AS HELL! The things she does in this book will blow your mind! I would recommend this book. I wish there was a seq...more

I read this book in one day, surprisingly I think I was more intrigued with the way Ashlee went from being a mild mannered woman to a crazy and deranged woman. Jay didn't stand a chance and he was so sex crazy that his mind was blown away because his ego got the best of him once he realized he had hit that thang the "G-spot" blowing Ashlee's mind he was done. She could have done anything and this nut would have gone for it, which is what happen and he ending up losing everything in the end.

(FROM JACKET)National bestselling authors Carl Weber and Mary B. Morrison team up to bring readers a hot, hilarious, page-turner featuring two of their favorite characters. After a rocky marriage, irresistibly seductive Jay Crawford is ready for a new woman and a new challenge. It doesn't take him long to find both in one package. Ashlee Anderson is just what he's looking for: hard-to-get, feisty, and freaky. But he'd never suspect just how freaky. Now Jay is in over his head with a woman who wi...more

She Ain’t the One is my first book I’ve read by both Authors. I had no idea that both Ashlee Anderson & Jay Crawford were characters from other series of books.

Overall I thought this novel was good. The first part of book just contained to much unnecessary sex for me. I felt like every chapter had at least a page and a half or two of just sex escapades. I’m saying this as a fan of Erotica, too. Since I didn’t know Ashlee’s background I kept asking myself what is this chick’s history. Well s...more

I've given this novel a 4 star rating but it's more like 3.5. The book is well written and interesting, but the ending was subpar and unrealistic, in my opinion, there the book left me unsatisfied. And I wasn't pleased when I finished it. So it felt like a real waste of my time. I also think people should read "Darius Jones" by Morrison before reading this book. "She Ain't the One" gives away too much of that story without telling readers they're connected. Really frustrating.

Oh this book was off this chain, Ashley is super crazy but FYI before you read this book you must Read Carl Weber's Married Men and Mary B Morrison's series starting from Soul Mates Dissapates. The reason why is because they both put characters in this book that r from their previous books, also you will not understand why people act a certain way nor will you understand how they got to that point. This book is awesome.

I will say this novel helped to place my faith back into Carl Weber, because he step out of his character a little with this, and I like that. It also open my eyes to Mary B. style and writing. I'm looking forward to reading more of her work. The ending has me looking for the squel to this one for Carl Weber, and I'll research Mary B. to make sure I'll start at the beginning of this series.

The book is for adults because of it's theme, and issues, which involves, kiddnapping, rape, lots of sex,...more

(A pretty quick and easy read.)

Its been awhile since I'd read anything by both authors, but this was...interesting. Just more proof that one should ALWAYS ask more questions and pay more attention when you begin dating.

The red flag(s) you disregard could be the one(s) to save your life.

Side note: The ending SUCKED! Its so NOT what I expected. Otherwise, a decent read.

This book was off the chain..And it shows men, and some women how a woman can become unhinged when wronged by a maan, and the lenghts she will/can go to exact revenge, and screw up his life..Becareful how you treat people.....you never know what you might get....

My favorite volume in the entire series. The way Ashlee lured Jay in was genius and the way he fell for her was flawless to the point that his bestfriends warnings landed on deaf ears. I was rolling on the floor in laughter throughout the entire book.
Jasmine
I thought it was messed up how Tracey and Jay didn't get their happy ending. I feel like it should have ended with Ashlee getting back all the wrong that she has inflicted on everyone. Its people like her who make people question a woman when they do get raped.

Very relevant story in this day and time. Of course fiction, but describes the effects of a society lost confused and mixed up. More importantly an example of why getting to know people is very important.

Really good book. I really love how the authors put a character from each one of their previous books into one book. It made a great combination for a wonderful book. A must read book...,

The book kept my attention long enough to finish it, but it was a bit slow in some parts and too sexually graphic too often. I liked the way the story was told from both points of view.

I must say this book was pretty good. I remembered the characters from books of the authors. It started off typical but pretty quickly you realize that Ashley isn't so stable. The ending made me wonder would there be a sequel. All in all, this was a good read.

Carl Weber and Mary B! Together? You have to know anything is possible with these two collaborating! This book would NOT let me put it down! A must read!

I wasn't that impressed with the story. The plot was flat and the characters were not very believable. The only thing I can say about the story was that it was a fast read and the sex scenes were very exciting.
Tisa
I was so happy it included Jay and the men from Married Men. Great read, especially if you love Carl Weber!

I liked this book ... It keeps the reader guessing for more and never able to come to own conclusions

I loved how they toed the characters into the other books. It gave good background on crazy Ashlee.
Rachel
Good in depth story on krazy Ashlee. Incorporating another man into her story was a good twist to the Darius /Fancy /Ashlee triangle. Jay should have seen the signs that Ashlee was not stable from the first hello. They moved too fast and too quick. He was saying I love you before getting to know her. When her mom spilled the tea about her son with Darius that is when he should have been running for the door. Ashlee was right about one thing ..Jay was dumb. He should have never went to her hotel...more
