Stacia ~ Mistress of Mediocrity
*About to break out my Julie Andrews voice*

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings One great erotic book can make me sing
These are a few of my favorite things

This was just what I needed right now - mindless, happy, romantic fluff with no deep meaning other than to provide me with amusing entertainment for the evening.

'Wrong Bed, Right Guy' by Katee Robert was an "OK" read. This story was a good effort, but it didn't cut it for me. The beginning started off promising and then the story fell flat & never picked up. To be honest, out of the whole book, I probably enjoyed only the first chapter due to the "accidental meeting."

The heroine, Elle, was unlikeable due to her snobby attitude & behavior. I couldn't understand why Gabe would put up with her behavior. Furthermore, her snobby behavior continued fo...more

I have two words for this book. Holy hotness! The new Brazen line from Entangled Publishing has knocked it out of the park with this one. The first chapter of WRONG BED, RIGHT GUY alone had me hooked. This book was hilarious, HOT, and heartfelt all at once. Gabe is one of the hottest hero’s on the market ladies. Trust me when I say you want to read this one. Tattooed and sexy to the extreme, Gabe had me swooning before Elle ever got the bedroom light on in the first chapter. And it was so much f...more

:) After spending an hour thinking about it, I finally decided on a rating. It deserves a full on 5 stars.
I had so much fun with this book, since the start I laughed like a crazy woman, I spend my time turning the page and laughing some more, and never ever was this book bad or boring.
Elle is so much fun, in her crazy bitch mode, but nonetheless hilarious. She´s the perfect little princess, with a deep desire for bad boys but with an enormous fear of getting hurt, so the onl...more

If Wrong Bed, Right Guy is an indication of the type of books Entangled Publishing will produce with its new Brazen imprint, then sign me up to read every one! WBRG was a fantastic steamy hot read with exceptionally well-written characters. The cover is exceptional, the blurb hooked me and the opening line of the book had me sold.

Elle Walser is looking for love - with someone safe. After being badly burned by her bad boy ex-boyfriend, Elle decides to swear off bad boys forever. She decides to s...more

No. Just No.
There is a possibility that this gets better if I were to believe the reviews but I can't bring myself to continue after the complete and utter absurdity of the first chapter.

The First Line: “Tonight she was seducing Mr. Right.” ..This is going to be good. ;)

If you love bad boy heroes with a heart, heroines who need a little saving from themselves, and a steamy smut overload in a story short enough to read in an afternoon - You're at the right place.

---------------------

Elle is such an awesome heroine. She is the character everyone can relate too even though in all honesty, I pegged her as a 'Mary Sue' at first. (Doing everything she can to become a stereotype and t...more

This was so on its way to a 5-star, but unfortunately the big conflict wasn't that big and wasn't all that conflict-y. The heroine's relationship inexperience causes the conflict IMO.

Incidentally, one of the best parts of the book is the Coming Soon section on the last few pages. I'm excited for all of the books listed!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next 2 in the series!

This book is perfect. Here I should mention that it’s rather a novella than a full length romance and as a short story it’s perfect. You know, I seldom find good novellas and that’s exactly why this book got me so hooked. It was exactly what I wanted at the moment – short, cute, steamy (oh-so-steamy!) and funny. Loved it!

One of my first romances ever was Kathleen O'Brien’s ‘Bargain with the Wind’. That was a story of a young woman who wanted was forced by circumstances to marry one guy but ended...more

Katee Robert hits it out of the park with Wrong Bed, Right Guy! There's just no other way to put it. This book is sexy, hot, passionate, and flawlessly written.

We meet Elle who is your normal straight laced girl. She keeps her house spotless, works in a art gallery, and is looking for Mr. Straight-laced to settle down with. To most people she appears to have a stick up her ass, and heavy on the snobby side, but the truth is she's been hurt by the bad boy type and she is trying to protect her hea...more

After coming off a disaster of a relationship, Elle swears off the stereo-typical bad-boys that she’s usually attracted too. She no longer trusts her judgment and decides to go for someone a little more refined like her boss, Nathan. But it seems life has other plans for her because her brilliant plan of seducing her him goes horribly wrong with hilarious and HOT results.

Gabe is minding his own business, sleeping at his brother, Nathan’s loft when an unknown woman joins him in bed. Things couldn...more

Easy breezy-typical chick lit formula. Nothing that knocked my socks off, except the chemistry between Gabe and Elle was pretty hot, Gabe was HOT!

This book got me at the "until she accidentally seduces a sexy stranger instead." Ha! I didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. I actually loved it. It was short, but at the same time it was brimmed with vivid characters and an engaging plot. I couldn't stop reading it.

My interest was piqued as soon as I saw the title of the Katee Robert’s first Brazen novel: Wrong Bed, Right Guy. My imagination just ran away with the possibilities and the beginning that Katee Robert gave us hooked me right from the start.

Elle, a shy and quiet good girl has had enough of hinting to her handsome boss that she’s interested, she has decided to take matters into her own hands and seduce Mr. Right by climbing in his bed. But what she doesn’t count on is that Mr. Right gave up his b...more

Wrong Bed, Right Guy by Katee Robert is a nice little diversion. It’s cute, sweet, and has some hot and steamy moments.

Sick of being single, Elle comes up with a plan to seduce her boss Nathan. She enters his apartment dressed in frilly lingerie and slips into bed with who she thought was Nathan and proceeds to seduce the sleeping man. When she realizes that the man in the bed was not Nathan, she is horrified and runs out of the apartment. Little did she know that she was in bed with Na...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this light, sweet and steamy story! It started off so well and just kept getting better the whole way through the book! Gabe was a delicious tattooed bad boy that lands up being accidentally seduced in the middle of the night by Elle! Elle thinks she is climbing into bed with her boss who she has a serious crush on but SURPRISE...lol, it turns out to be the wrong guy! The whole premise of the book was a breath of fresh air and the writing was so good! I can't say it enough,...more

Gabe Schultz is half asleep after crashing at his brother's place when a half naked Elle Walser climbs into bed beside him. Elle had planned to seduce her boss by climbing into his bed, once she realises Gabe isn't her boss Elle is horrified and runs off before Gabe can even get her name. Gabe however, is quite smitten with Elle who is not his usual type, and sets out to try to convince the very prim and proper Elle to see past his tattoos and occupation and give him a chance.

"Takin' the Bull By The Horns!"

Elle Walser was exhausted of all the subtle hints she kept tossing in her boss' direction. Nathan Schultz is the ultimate gentlemen, who Elle could envision settling down with, have a couple of children, and truly be happy. However, Nathan wasn't understanding what Elle desperately tried to convey to him. So she takes matters into her own hands and conceives a scheme, to literally sneak into his bed one night, wear a scintillatingly sexy piece of lingerie that she...more

Buddy read with Marulett

It was an enjoyable way to pass time, I loved the way the story started, but then the heroine started talking more... I couldn't stand her! She was a judgmental and stuck up witch! Always going on and on about how she likes tattoos but, paradoxically, can't stand guys who have them! She as a stupid idea that if you have body ink you're not reliable... I mean really?! What world do you live in?!

The hero, Gabe, was too god for her. He was protective and forgave all he stupi...more

This book was so much fun and scorching hot.

Elle and Gabe have amazing chemistry and even though their relationship actually develops in reverse - sexual encounter and then getting to know you - it all makes sense though and you'll be rooting for them to let down their protective armor and take a chance on love.

Cute & fun read with some laugh-out- loud moments.
Gabe is a great hero. A bad boy turned good, he feels lonely & wants to settle down with the right woman. Elle is prim & proper - a corn country princess as Gabe likes to call her - but sometimes she appears snobby, whiny & melodramatic.
The book starts on a high note ( Elle decides to seduce her boss but finds another man in his bed ) but the end leaves a lot to be desired. The BIG misunderstanding is - in reality & outside E...more

I was really looking forward to reading this book. I thought it sounded cute and fun. I was hoping for a quick, light read. Unfortunately, that’s not what I got.

The premise is cute. I love the whole misunderstanding in the beginning. It’s totally unrealistic and would never happen in a million years, but that’s sometimes what makes a great FICTIONAL romance novel. It’s an escape from reality, so I can suspend belief for a while and just enjoy. My problem with this book was the snarky heroine. S...more

This book is a solid read. I am a really hard reader to satisfy but this book succeeded at holding me in the world it created and letting me escape my own for a little while.

Failure never felt so right. Trying to seduce her boss by sneaking into his bed, Elle almost seduces his brother instead. Embarrassment ensues in a clash between two very different people. But Elle isn't the only risk taker, when Gabe decides to pursue her. Hot tempers and even hotter passions flare in this very enjoyable s...more

I'd only intended to read the excerpt on the publisher's blog. I had ebooks about to be yanked by the library. I didn't have time for a book to grab me and not let me go. Instead I read the first chapter and it was so cleverly done that I just bought it and kept reading straight through to the end.

Elle is a wonderful main character--a bit snarky, funny, prissy, an innocent sort of snob...and she's attracted to the wrong sort of men or so she thinks. When she sets out to seduce her boss and ends...more

By Katee Robert

My Thoughts (Theo): This book totally captured my mind for the time I’ve read it! It was beautiful, interesting, awesome, and perfect. It was so, so sweet!
Yeah, call me a moron for calling a book sweet, but it had all those types of words that made you all warm and fuzzy, giving you the content feeling you were looking for! And I sure was looking for something to make my day from worst to best!

A lighthearted, slightly steamy romance about a "good" girl and a "bad" boy. What starts out as a case of mistaken identity turns into a battle of wills when good girl Elle accidentley ends up in Gabe Schultz's bed while attempting to seduce his brother, Nathan. Gabe's intrigued and sets out to get to know Elle better. Elle, a reformed bad boy lover, doesn't want anything to do with him, but his perseverance wears her down and soon she finds herself rethinking her whole attitude.

This was a fun little story. I was originally a little nervous about reading it since it sounded like the heroine’s affections were previously engaged before she ended up in the wrong (or right) guy’s bed. I wasn’t sure that the author could successfully show the heroine, Elle, changing her mind and falling for another guy so soon after trying to seduce her boss. Luckily, her reasons for trying to seduce her boss were not quite what I assumed they would be.

Elle is sick and tired of he...more

Never judge a book by the cover! that should be the name of this book..
we all make assumptions on how people look... that create expectations. which is unfair.. although quite often makes sense.

finally I read about a female character that sticks to what she believes! she thinks he is trouble.. and does her best to keep him away... and takes her some to give up and admit she likes him. I liked that! at least it is showing some personality and fire!

it felt like Elle was acting quite juvenile...
