Celebrity vet Marc Abraham tells us what it's like to be a vet, and explains some of the cases he took on after startng his own night-time vet's surgery.

He mentions the embarrasing things, such as the time he put his hand up a cow's, er, hiney, only to be told he had the 'wrong hole'.

A collection of cute little stories. It made me chuckle a couple of times, but I found that in editing it into a childrens book, it lost most of the 'animal' in the 'animal stories'. Most of the stories were about Marc and Ruth getting the call, them arriving where the animal is or the animal arriving at the clinic, and then a quick speed through of what was wrong and what they did to close the story. Most of the stories spent most of their pages on Marc and Ruth, less so on the animals and the ...more
