Despite being in a fantastical setting from start to finish with very little effort made for realism (or maybe because of it?) this one is pretty hot. Lots for every taste here, with special emphasis on dominance and submission games, mostly mental rather than physical. I appreciated that there's some action between two men that isn't based on attraction necessaily, but competition. I am torn between two and three stars, if I could figure out how to make it 2.5 stars I would use that rating.

The book starts out with two friends and quickly turns into just one. The other character is quite left out of the story, we get one or two snippits of her during the reading but that's it. It gives me a sense of the book being unfinished.
