Or 9/10. Excellent book, some very good depictions of the harshness of live in coal communities, particularly that of women over the first 50 years of the 20th century. Very glad I hunted it down, very well researched and made me appreciate how hard life for both my grandmothers - miners wives - must have been during this period of time.
