Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily and Alison were best friends. Alison was the queen bee, and she knew all of their dirty little secrets. But then one day Alison vanished.
Now, years later, they aren't friends anymore--indeed, they have nothing to do with each other. Until they start receiving text messages and notes from A. Who knows all of their secrets. Things only Alison knew.
Who is A? And what is A going to do with their secrets?

PERFECT starts out with a flashback to a time when Ali was still alive and part of the group. Ali receives a phone call but doesn't share with Spencer, Hanna, Aria, or Emily. But that's kind of how it's always been. Ali was always the leader. Playing the girls off each other and keeping secrets on each of them.
Now, Ali is supposedly dead and the girls have all gone their own way.

Hold on to your hats people! Things are getting serious. Like with the previous books in the series, PERFECT picks up the story right where FLAWLESS left off. If you have been disappointed by a book series in the past that dwindled in excitement, be assured that the PRETTY LITTLE LIARS series isn't going to let you down.

When I picked up this book at my library, I expected it to be about these stuck-up girls, kinda like Gossip Girl and the A-List or whatever. Then I started reading it and I read it within an hour, it was that good. It's set up so well and you'll never be able to even GUESS what's going to happen next. It's not predictable, which is one thing I really like about it. It's weird that someone is stalking them. I've read all four and I myself have had my suspicions on who A could be, but I always end...more

Ok, I loved the first two. But this trend of making a looooong series when the story can really only handle a trilogy (at best) is completely annoying. This book had nothing new to give. The mystery from the first is still there- with no end in sight. Ugh.

The third book in this super awesome series! More drama and ,ugh, the last like 16 chapters, so much stuff happens! The ending, its a darn cliff hanger, but all the more reason to read the next book, right?!? loved it (Warning:NAUGHTY BOOK-Julia)

CRAZEEE! After Toby is certainly off from the 'could he/she be A' list... now the readers delivered to another tricky question: could it be one of the girls? OMG... the story is getting juicierrrr!

a mystery book like this is very interesting, and it will keep you flipping those pages. so there are a group of girls, and one summer their friend is found dead. after about 3 months after that, they start getting threating texts from a girl, or person, names A ( their dead friends name was Alison) they think it is her, but shes dead! so who could this be? these texts arent just threats, they change all the girls lives, in very dramatic ways.

I wasn’t that impressed with the first book, didn’t read the second book, but actually liked the third book. Granted, I’m pretty lost with all the clues that must have dealt with A’s identity, but I still find it pretty interesting. The ending is a shocker—when secrets are revealed and also when Hanna gets into a car accident. The way the book shapes its evidence, however, is definitely trying to mislead you into thinking that Spencer is actually A. And really, did Spencer kill Ali, or...more

This book was definatly the best of the series. It was all about the 4 girls finding out what happened to Ali. There are loads of twists in this book. I would have to say it had the best ending ever. I mean what happened to Hannah after she finds out who -A is.
