The second volume was a definite improvement over the first. I think that the creator wasn't pushing so hard to establish the characters and had figured out what story to tell. By the second volume, it has become a very sweet romantic comedy, with a love triangle...but with ninjas. The Christmas story in particular was very well done, a high point of the book. Another was the ghost story sequence.

I really enjoyed this volume very much. It was better than the first one in my opinion. Can't wait to read the next one!!
