I chose this book from the Amazon Vine program out of idle curiosity, for the most part. I'm not seriously considering taking the GMAT or going to business school, but I like to know what my options are. As someone with no prior knowledge of the test, then, I found this book very helpful. There were plenty of sample questions with clear explanations, and the chapters are laid out in a format that allows the reader to skim through some sections and focus on others. To be honest, I did not get to finish this book, so I cannot offer a proper review of the entire thing. However, from what I did read, I feel like it oversimplified the tests. The essay explanation was wonderful, and the language section was good for me (I'm strong in English). The math section, however, didn't really prepare me enough. Math is my weakest subject, though, so maybe I needed more help than it could give.

This one was a waste of time compared to the other GMAT study guide I used. I skimmed it in a few hours and got all I could out of it
