A simple, small act of kindness may go much farther than you think. Brian wasn't looking for anything in return when he gave his mother a great big hug. Brian's hug set in motion a series of unselfish acts that reached more people--and even animals-than he could ever know. It is a story that happens every day, with infinite variation, among good-hearted people everywhere.

As the kind acts spread throughout Brian's family, his classroom, his school, and the community, eventually, all that love comes back to Brian, allowing him to start the positive chain ...more

Because Brian hugged his mother . . . she made their favorite breakfast, so daughter helped teacher, so teacher let kids do a special project for the principal, etc. A lovely book about paying it forward.
