I love the wealth of resources that the "Dummies" books provide. I have 5 full pages of notes after reading this book that are things for me to further investigate on this topic. Great tips on a topic that I knew very little about!

I read this for my capstone. I'll probably read it again. And then again, if I get a job in fundraising. Ah, the life of an MPA.

По принцип повечето съвети вероятно са верни, но са приложими за САЩ и в много малка степен - за България.

Chap 25 is good: 10 excuses for the failed event. Includes reasons why things go wrong and how to plan ahead or be proactive in the midst of the disaster. Helpful.

“Your ability to describe the mission of your organization, your goals, your objectives, your programs, your staff, and your plans all in one cohesive, well-thought-out document (in other words, your case statement) will impress your donors. It'll also impress the people working with you, as well as others in the fundraising community. And even more important than impressing your donors and partners, your case statement will help them understand why you exist, why you do what you do, and why they want to join you in doing it.” 0 likes
“Nonprofit organizations exist to help people help others — through giving money, time, effort, or material goods.” 0 likes
