Good overall book on paths to walk, jog, run, bike, etc in San Francisco and Marin county. It has fewer maps than other books, but detail on the type of terrain, things to see, traffic, etc. on each route. It is also full of route since it include walking/hiking/running trails. It take a little more time and effort to decipher your trail and directions are in one chunky paragraph versus laid out step-by-step for easy reading.
