I read this for my first MBA class. While it is of course a text book, it does offer valuable information and, again as a text book, it is surprisingly easy to read

I learned a lot from this in terms of organizational design.

This is not the best book for a critical thinker, but is very basic with essential concepts of the base of theory of organizations and its related subjects.
