Stephen Huneck's are a delight to read for children, as well as adults. His sense of humor shines through his illustrations and dry wit which will keep adults engaged. The large, bright illustrations are enjoyable for old and young. This book would be good for preschoolers as a Story Time book, as well as a read aloud lap book. The sparse amount of text would be good for beginning readers as well.

Sally, just the cutest black lab ever, decides to visit a ski lodge for a little winter fun.

She meets the Vermont Snow Angels, two rescue dogs, whose main activity is rescuing lost dogs on the mountain.

When Sally gets lost her friends send out the Snow Angels to bring her back home safely!

A wonderful story and a very good lesson for little ones to remember: always stay on the marked paths!
Sarah Adamson
This is a good fun book about Sally who has gone to a mountain lodge to enjoy snowboarding, skiing etc. She wanders off and gets lost but gets rescued by the rescue dogs thanks to her new friends missing her.
A nice tale about about all the fun of winter sports and some of the dangers. Gentle and cleverly told.
Adrith Bicchieri
This is a cute story about a dog who travels to a dog-friendly lodge, meets new friends, and has a winter adventure, necessitating the intervention of brave rescue dogs.

The illustrations have a lovely attention to the little details about them, and the color choices are excellent.

Sally is a funny black Labrador who is gorgeously illustrated in this fantastic series by Stephen Huneck. In this installment, Sally gets lost in the snowy woods, and the other dogs on the snowy mountain rescue her -- the way they all work together to help their new friend will have young kids (and grownups) cheering!
