This is an awesome introduction for a citizenship unit. Students are given real life situations and advice on how to handle them with good citizenship techniques. Allow your students to think of other unique situation they may face and create small groups to discuss the ways in which they may handle them.

Kind of quirky way of looking at attributes of good citizenship. This book is structured as a series of letters from kids to a young advice columnist, with upbeat messages about doing the right thing.
