Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway would not be complete without this book. Overlooks, trails and sights are explained in detail - a feature missing from the actual Parkway signage. It's a bit of a monotonous read unless you're actually on the Parkway but if you're heading that way, don't go without this book and "The Best of the Blue Ridge Parkway" by Nye Simmons

Good guide...I will refer back to it if I can find time to get there this year.
