Even though I am not a parent or a youth worker, I found this little book extremely helpful and interesting. Mark makes clear points through great examples and research. Highly recommended for youth ministers and parents!

This book is geared towards parents with children in the age range of 11-14. Early adolescents experience one of the most significant periods of change they'll face during their lifetimes---physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally and spiritually. The chapters on brain development are fascinating to me and I will be referencing this book a lot in the years to come, I'm sure.
