I've had postcards advertising this book for quite some time so when I saw the book on a list of recommended reads, I thought, "Why not?" Here is the summer journal of Pru, in which she chronicles thoughts on her summer reading assignments, family embarrassments, tensions between her two best friends, and her growing awareness of cute boys. A fun story about a girl going into the fifth grade. Its in diary form, obviously, which is one of my favorites. I didn't realize it was written by a fifth grader until i was half way into the story, cool! You can sort of start to tell though. Its a quick moving story.
