Phil Newman
Good strategies and techniques for managing a product management team/department. Did you know that Steven Haines also wrote the Product Manager's Desk Reference (great resource)? This book mentions it enough that the ad gets old. Chapters 6-8 are the real meat and potatoes and should be read by experienced product managers and product leaders.

Some useful information and models but a lot of advertising for his other books and company. However, good read if you are new to product management especially the management of in-life product managers

Lots of references to his other book The Product Managers Desk Reference, which I guess should be read first to fully grasp the content.
