This was an interesting short book about the history of the pretzel, with nice illustrations (they would be even nicer in color--our kindle is just black and white). There were rhymes, and even a recipe for pretzels in the end! The only thing I didn't care for too much was the history about the monk and all, but it *is* based on history.
