Excellent book. I love the Project Justice series. In this book, Jillian has been given her first job as an investigator. She is to play the part of an administrative assistant to a lumber company executive. She is horrified to discover it is the guy she had a crush on in high school. During a science fair project she was humiliated and she has never forgiven him. Jillian had some problems with letting go of her past with Conner, but did eventually realize that she couldn't hang on to her anger. ...more

Solid read. Had some good suspense moments, though I did call some of what happened, but perhaps I am just a stellar plot figure outer... I both loved and hated Conner and Jillian.... I liked this book way much better than Forever by Judy Blume. I guess the reason was that this book had a big number of things going on in it. Like, murder and suspense and then of course, romance. All in all, I enjoyed it and I don't mind reading another Harlequin..

Enjoyed the woman undercover agent, meeting an old crush and having to work for him. Nice touch as she tries to find the real killer and figure out her real feelings at the same time. Nicely paced story.
