She was a little out of it due to some allergy medication she took, and by the time she woke up she was far from home. When Rik realized he had the wrong girl, it was too late to do anything about it. When he explained the problem to Mel, she agreed to help him out. Rik needs to marry in order to get his father, the king, to go along with some plans he has to improve things for his country. He had planned to enter into a temporary marriage with Mel's cousin. Appeared at What I'm Reading

Ok, today selection is total utter fluff. Nothing more than that. I mean last week I saw Invitation to the Prince's Palace at the BX, and thought "you know what, I want to read this." However, I held off.

Last night I headed to Wal-mart to get some milk, because we were out of whole milk. Just to let you know my son is a milk addict, seriously. I mean he will chuck his drink cup at me to let me know he wants more. Anyways, I'm digressing. Before I get to the dairy isl

I know with a romance book you're not supposed to focus on the actual plot but rather the relationship between the characters but really you're entire economic policy is based on an extremely rare product, Truffles in this case, and you wonder why you're country is failing? The Prince needs to stop focusing on diversionary tactics like marriage and sit down with a good economist and sort out his failing economy and the viability of an economy that is entirely based on one product.

This was one of the worst romance books I have ever read from Harlequin. I mean I know what to expect when I am reading a Harlequin, so I wasn't disappointed by the concept. But there was really nothing going on in the book. Very ho hum, and the relationship development was very weak between the two characters.

This book wasn't great. I can't say I was totally impressed. It seemed really weak to me, to be honest. Yes it had that 'Cinderella' type feel but it's way overrated in my opinion. It was too simplistic and too like all the other 'going to be a princess' novels out there.

Just okay... if you get this for free that's fine, nothing special
Beth
Total fluff, but just what I needed today.
