A lot of people desire and need to accelerate their professional networks right now.

This book does a great job of teaching the behaviors, attitude and spirit of creating and strengthening networking relationships that are lasting productive, mutually reciprocal , and can often result in deepeing friendships!

This book was helpful for me because I have always been afraid of the work networking. I always felt like I had to go out and sell myself. But this book really focuses on the building or mutually beneficial relationships. It was published in 2002 so it is a little outdated, but I am going to read "The Networking Survival Guide" which was published in 2010 to see if this gives more up to date advice on contacting people.
