A heroine on the run, a hero scarred by a woman her likens to the heroine and a lot of detail about Navajo culture and between traditional medicine and "medical profession" and a woman choosing her career or a man, overall decent!
I absolutely loved this book. I loved everything about it. I love how even after ten years this book is still beautiful and relevant. It has become an instant favorite and I know that this is going to be one of those books I go back to time and time again.
It's rare that a book touches some part of my soul like this one did. I can't put my finger on what it was but it gave me whatever it was I needed.
I highly reccomend this read.
