Marge Saiser's latest poetry is rich with story and language. These poems tell of three generations of women from one family. By the end of each section, I knew something of each one. Hard and sweet moments of life are expressed with beauty and dignity.

Was is it like to write like Marge Saiser, to see one's life like Marge Saiser? This collection of poetry is so full of sublime stones in the water, full of moments that lurk just under the surface. There are threads of narrative that reveal an abusive ex-husband, sharp and hard-headed daughters, and a mother in the stages of her passing.
