A wonderful tale, written in language suitable for all pre-teenage children. Having read work by this talented author before I knew I’d enjoy the story but I ‘road tested’ this one by reading it with my ten year old daughter before bedtime (we took turns reading to each other).
Some of Mia and Eve’s adventures, their misfortunes and the villains they encounter, both human and anthropomorphic, reminded me a little of Carlo Callodi’s Pinocchio but unlike this most famous of works (I’m talking here
