Well, it turns out that the Queen of Crime was also a decent poet – a little too traditional for my taste, perhaps, but competent enough. This collection of poetry was first published in 1973, and it consists of two separate volumes, the first of which was published as ‘The Road of Dreams‘ in 1924.

I must preface this review in saying that I am not a fan of poetry - I only read this book because it was written by Agatha Christie. Although I found a couple of the historical poems mildly interesting I found the rest to have nothing unique to say.

I loved this book of poems! I had no idea Agatha was such a talented poet until I stumbled across this at the library! Well worth reading!!!
