Recommends it for: parents reading with their children
Our girls love doing arts and crafts and I try to expose them to a variety of different art styles, history and biographies of famous artists. I love reading books like this with our girls, and more often than not, I learn something too.

This is a short, but fairly comprehensive look at the life of Claude Monet. The narrative can easily be read at one time and the inclusion of pictures of his artwork help to show how his techniques changed over time. We enjoyed reading this book together.
