Wrecked is a heartwarming, sweet love story about two people coming together and finding their own way. Jake and Emily are both great characters each dealing with their own obstacles in life but still trying to discover love with each other.
Jake is a bit of a screw-up; he’s made some major mistakes and now has to deal with the ramifications of those choices. His biggest mistake has landed him in the hospital where he meets Emily, his nurse.

Wrecked was a great addition to the Clayton Falls series. Jake & Emily's story was a solid storyline that had me from beginning to end. They were absolutely perfect for each other and the way that Alyssa set their story up was a great choice. We actually got to see Jake grow up before our eyes in all the Clayton Falls books. Love that Alyssa continued to let the other characters grow in this book and I can't wait to see what is next in this series!!! I would highly recommend this ...more

Before I start with my review, I just want to mention that I read this book without reading the first two books in the Clayton Falls series. It seems like these books can be read together or separately, each book focusing on another person living in the small town of Clayton Falls. I didn't enjoy Wrecked as much as I was hoping I would. I think I was just expecting a lot more then what I received.

Wrecked is the story of Jake and Emily. After driving drunk and crashing his car, he meets Emily, th

Just when I think Alyssa Rose Ivy’s books can’t get any better, she proves me wrong. Wrecked, the third book in the Clayton Falls series is honest, real, and completely breathtaking. I love how Jake’s story is completely different from Ben and Gavin’s. I have such a love for series that intersect each other and bring back characters you know and love. And since I always enjoyed Jake and his witty banter, getting to know his character better was fun.

I love this series so much. It is interesting to me that instead of a series where you have all the same characters in different progressions of the plot, these are the same location and a group of people that know each other but all are different stories. Derailed, book one, is about Molly and Ben. Veer, book two, is about Becca (Molly’s friend) and Gavin the town cop. Lastly book three, Wrecked is about Jake (Ben’s brother) and a girl named Emily. All take place in Clayton Falls and all are ro ...more
Wrecked by Alyssa Rose Ivy is the third story in the Clayton Falls Series. This story focuses on Ben's younger brother Jake and the beautiful Emily. It begins with Jake drinking and driving, and ending up in a pretty series car accident. While in induced coma and on a ventilator, his young, and beautiful nurse Emily, goes above and beyond taking care of him. She can't help but be fascinated by this young guy, and be curious about him. She can tell that he has classic good looks, even with all th ...more

I didn't know I was addicted to the Clayton Falls series until I realized I had read Wrecked the day after I received it. For me, that's unheard of. Not with my review schedule. And I read it in one sitting one quiet evening. The result? I LOVED it!

I really liked Derailed (my review), liked Veer (my review), and now I really loved Wrecked. I was anxiously awaiting Jake's story and author Alyssa Rose Ivy has finally given it to me. Thank you! There's always a soft spot in my reading heart for the

I have loved this series from the first book. I have gotten to know the characters and Clayton Falls. My favorite character was Jake, so I was so excited to finally get to read his book!! He was every bit as awesome to read about as I was hoping. I also loved that the rest of the characters that we already know are very present too. It's like hanging out with your friends again after being away. This was fantastic and I really enjoyed getting Jake and Emily's story.

Alyssa Rose Ivy has done it again! Lord I can not stress enough that this author always has a way at pulling on your heart strings and giving you want and need in a story. In Wrecked we meet Jake and Emily. Jake is a hot mess always messing up and doing things that are not healthy for him or to him but he is a risk tacker. Only one night it goes to far and he winds up in the hospital. When he wakes up he realizes where he is and what he did to get there and he knows there is going to be hell to ...more

I truly could not wait for Jake's story. He just seemed so sad or troubled and I tend to have a soft spot for those kind of guys. As the series grew, I started to see him in a different light. I felt like I watched him mature. Wrecked was sweet and simply enjoyable.

Even though Jake has always been a bit snarky, I always liked him. I liked him from the first book, but started to feel more drawn to him in Veer. In that book, he and Becca formed a really good friendship and I started to take Jake
Clayton Falls and Alyssa never seem to disappoint me. Wrecked was a great story and I loved seeing a new side to Jake. I did like him in Derailed and Veer, but I did find him annoying and immature at times. It wasn’t until his full story unveiled, his accident happened, and he found Emily that I really loved him and who he is. Alyssa does it again and created a very sweet and touching love story between two characters who fit so well together, who needed and completed each other. I was pleasantl ...more

I love all of Ayssa's books. They are all so beautifully written. This book was as well. The writing flowed smoothly and I was quickly wrapped up in the story. This is the third book in the Clayton Falls series and it was excellent.

I really enjoyed Jake's character in Veer and really wanted to read more of him. Getting to know Emily was fun too. She was a very likeable character and I felt for her throughout the entire story. Being in her situation is tough. Anyone going through her trials woul
I am a huge fan of Alyssa Rose Ivy and I just love her books, especially the Clayton Falls Series. I was so excited to find out that Jake was getting a story. We got met Jake Matthews in the first book, Derailed, and I have been dying to know more about him ever since. I have to say that Jake is my favorite of all the characters so far and I just loved his story. I also love the fact that in each story, you still get to see all the main characters from the previous books, and find out what is go ...more

I knew I loved Emily right off when the girl talked to Jake while the boy was unconscious, "I'll say it again, what were you thinking? Don't you realize how much pain you've cause your family?" I sighed. "okay, maybe that's not fair. Maybe you had a reason. Just don't do something that dumb again. You won't get lucky twice." Emily also is a funny girl and she balances Jake which I think is good. "Hold your horses there, stud. I think you have more important things to worry about than lining up a ...more

Alyssa Rose Ivy has been one of my favorite authors since I first read Beckoning Light in her Afterglow series, and I have loved every single book and series she has put out since then. It did not take any persuasion to jump on board to read and review Wrecked. As a fan of the first two books in the Clayton Falls series, the one story I have been looking forward to was Jake’s story. In Wrecked, I finally got my wish, and it was so much better than I imagined.

Clayton Falls series is easily one of my favorite contemporary series ever next to Leaving Paradise series by Simone Elkeles. The previous books in the Clayton Falls series, Derailed and Veer were absolutely amazing. When I saw Wrecked get put up on goodreads and read that it would be Jake's own story I was ecstatic. Jake was one of my favorite characters in the series! So for him to get his own story, was insanely exciting, I really did like Jake's story. But it didn't live up to m

I knew it! It's no secret that I adore Alyssa's books. I've been looking forward to reading Jake's story ever since I was reading Derailed. I knew that his book would end up being my favorite and it was so worth the wait!

Jake was always such a scene stealer in Derailed and Veer. He had the sweet but cocky guy attitude thing going on for him and he played it well. Turns out, Jake had more problems then I thought and he wasn't such a care-free gu

Jake just made one huge mistake and it was nearly deadly. His drinking has finally caught up to him and landed him in the hospital. The moment he opens his eyes, he sees an angel. Well, his nurse, but to him she is nothing less of a heavenly being. And Emily is all it took for him to turn his life around. She has saved him. Only problem is she is hiding a secret. Will the secret be too much for Jake to handle…sending him back to his old ways? Or will it only strengthen their growing romance?

3-1/2 stars. I think.

I haven’t read the other two books in the Clayton Falls series, but that didn’t keep me from understanding what was going on in Wrecked. Former high-school legend football player Jake Mathews is a 23-year-old who makes a mistake–he drinks and drives. And gets in a terrible accident. Thankfully, no one else is hurt, but Jake is in ICU for some time. While there, he meets his nurse, Emily, and is instantly smit
Jake Matthews has had his share of screw-ups. But landing unconscious in the hospital after drunkenly wrecking his truck has to be the biggest screw-up of his life.

Emily Taylor is working double shifts as an ICU nurse to help cover expenses, while still attempting to mend her broken heart, so when she meets Jake, she doesn't know quite how to deal with his flirtatious nature.

Eventually, she succumbs to Jake's charm and leaves her phone number with him, only to embark on a romance she never thou

When I first read the description for this book I got this idea in my mind on what it was going to be about. I was surprised when I got pieces of the story and discovered more of what else was driving the story beyond Jake and Emily. I think it made the story that much sweeter, and it is not something that is seen in very many books either. I really want to tell you guy about what I am talking about, but I can't. It would give it away.

I can tell you that Jake is a sweet sweet man who was fortuna

I had the pleasure of reading Mrs. Ivy’s new book – Wrecked for free. I have read all of her books so far with Flight being the first. I found her books when I was on the B&N website looking for a new book to read when I saw the cover to Flight and thought the cover was interesting and I had to read it to see if was as good as it looked? This is the 3rd book in the Clayton Falls series, so I knew a little about Jake, but it was nothing compared to what we learnt about him in this book. The book starts off with a bang, and I loved that it did not stop right until the very end. Jake has made some choices in life that are not the greatest of decisions, and one major one is revealed at the beginning of this book, and that is when all the drama starts.

This was the first book I had read by Alyssa Rose Ivy, I have the first two Clayton Falls books on my ereader but as usual my TBR list is huge and I hadn't got around to reading them. Wrecked is book three in the series but it can be read as a standalone The other characters from the first two books make brief appearances and after reading Wrecked I am now eager to learn their stories.
