I was lucky enough to receive this as a Goodreads giveaway. What an amazing adventure. I know all about being bitten by the travel bug, however before reading this book, enjoyed seeing it in 5★ style. To be able to follow the road less travelled without a schedule, plan, or fear, must have been amazing, be it unconventional to most of us. Ryan's personal quest to inner freedom has led him to various interesting and remote places in Central America. I really had a blast reading this book, but some greater questions are still left unanswered or the motivation for doing things has ben left unanswered. I did not like the usage of exceptional difficult English words (but tha'ts very personal), and it was a pity that the printing quality wasn't that great, but that didn't keep me from enjoying the travellers tale. What a fantastic adventure must have been had while writing this novel, it has totally renewed my desire to go travelling myself, fantastic book to escape with.
