I very much enjoyed "Blue Ice." The writing seemed just a little stilted at the beginning, and some of the characters reactions seemed more in line with the plot than their personality. This dropped it a star. However, the story and writing improved as it moved along. I will look for more by Enger. One more thing. The book is perhaps more of a suspense novel than a mystery. Not at all a criticism, but an observation. Did not affect my enjoyment in the least.
