Having enjoyed reading the first book in this series, I was happy to pick up a copy of Suzuka: Volume 2. This is the first mature-rated manga series I have read. I am fine with the nudity, but I was a little shocked by the profanity, although it was brief, but intense.

I find that I really enjoy the story and the art by Kouji Seo is quite good.

David Ury is a very good translator of Japanese to English and he did a fine job on this book. It really helps a manga book when the text flows nicely. I

Koji Seo (瀬尾 公治) is a Japanese manga creator from Shobara, Hiroshima, Japan.

He debuted in 1996 with the one-shot HALF & HALF in Magazine Fresh. His two hits, Suzuka and Cross Over, both mixed the genres of sports with high school romance. Suzuka focused on track and field while Cross Over used basketball.
He was an assistant to Tsukasa Ōshima, and respects Fujiko F. Fujio and Masahito Soda.
